count on. Our network is monitored at 5 minute
intervals for assurance any problem will be dealt with
immediately. We have server techs "on call" 24/7/365 if
our monitors alert them to any problems.
Every site is backed up nightly and we also offer
off-site backups on request for a small fee to either
"hard" storage such as CD or DVD in our secure data
fire-safe for static sites and/or on remote data storage drives
(for actively changing sites) in our office location far
away from any natural disaster, however improbable, that
might destroy the data center and our daily
backups there.
We are not some huge impersonal company so every customer of New Idea Hosting
receives the same
fast, friendly, personal support we have always offered
all our customers.

Why Our Service is a better value than what others
may appear to be:
Unlike most "value" hosts we do not
"oversell" resources.
This is a very widespread
practice in the hosting industry of selling more resources than server hardware
can actually deliver based on the proven statistical average
that 90% of customers never use all the resources they
are paying for. So a host can "sell" far more than
their network & hardware is capable of delivering
(overselling) with little risk of customers ever
noticing. We do not believe that practice is ethical.
With New Idea everything in your plan is available
even if every other customer was using everything
offered in their plan at the same time.
Don't be misled by companies making unrealistic
offers. Most basic web sites use megabytes of transfer
per month, not even 1 or 2 gigabytes. Our least expensive
"super value" plan allows for 8 GB. Far more than the
average user will ever need. We could easily use the
tactic above and offer 50 GB for the same price
knowing you wouldn't ever use it; but to us that is
unethical and our core value is honest value and

"work" there is no charge at
all. Of course if we do not feel your problem
